Adding Multiple Lines of Text to One Cell

Have you ever wondered how you can add multiple lines of text to one cell? Well, it’s actually very easy to accomplish. All you have to do is hold down the Alt key and hit Enter. By doing this, you are turning on the Wrap Text feature just for that particular cell. This will allow you to have stackable lines of text to enter information such as a name followed by a phone number and then an email address.

Remember, to add multiple lines of text to a single cell, do the following:

  1. Select or highlight the cell.
  2. Hold down Alt key and hit Enter key.
  3. Enter text into cell.
