How to Use Accent Keys and Access Different Punctuation Marks

If you’re looking to add an accent symbol to a name or simply have some fun with new punctuation marks, here’s a tip that will allow you to explore the options your iPad offers.

You can press and hold down a vowel and a pop up of your options for that letter will appear.

Hold down any punctuation mark to see additional options. For instance, when you hold down the period key on the punctuation board there is an ellipsis. A bullet and an em dash are also hiding under the hyphen and various currency signs are accessible under the dollar sign.
